Bio and additional info

Kyra Walters recently played the part of Gladys Herdman in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, a production of Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego.

Kyra started her acting career at the age of 6 as a Wild Thing in Where the Wild Things Are, which her parents found strangely appropriate. After that, she performed in other children's productions with Upstart Crow Studio, Rose Children's Theater and ACE Youth Academy (in Eugene, Oregon). She enjoyed a 3-year relationship with Actors Cabaret of Eugene in several adult productions and earned her first lead rolls in Junior productions at ACE. Then, at the age of 10, her parents moved to Portland and she was informed she would have to move with them and they promised she could find new places to perform. Luckily, she has, and it turns out... she kinda likes it here!

Kyra has also worked in film and commercials and can currently be seen in Best Buy and Honey Nut Cheerios commercials.

Kyra is a 5th Grader who also really enjoys Rhythmic Gymnastics at Oregon Gymnastics Academy and taking Harp Lessons at Harps Northwest. Her brother, Bryce Walters, is also an actor.
